Let me know when God starts regrowing limbs. That would be something.
What leap of Faith is there in seeing a limb grow back?
And would that matter to you? Would you drop to your knees and worship the Almighty if you saw a limb grow back? No, you would just attribute it to some unnatural phenomenon that hasn't been discovered yet in the universe..... or justify it in any way that excludes God.
You're right that I wouldn't instantly attribute it to god or an unnatural phenomenon of any kind.. Nothing is ever discovered by simply saying: god did it. One might as well just say it's magic when confronting anything new. Most modern tech would look like magic in the bronze age or even the 1400s.
However, if growing limbs were a thing not done by doctors or scientists, but only by believers and the believers were willing to document the before and after and allow magicians and other experts to evaluate the regrowth to see that it wasn't slight of hand or new medication, yes I might really begin to believe in some kind of supernatural being. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it created the universe though.

Obviously you atheists haven't figured out yet, that Faith and Trust are the key ingredients in our salvation.
I certainly understand that you ronedee believe salvation requires faith and trust. I just don't see that there's any rational basis for belief or trust in god, or of life after death in any form. And I notice that other people who also don't have any rational basis for their beliefs, believe just as strongly as you do in other gods, or supernatural systems which directly contradict yours. So I surmise that spiritual sight is unreliable.

I've heard that said. I've yet to meet a Christian who was quite that satisfied with life. Scratch the surface and there tends to be a lot of angry, unhappy, worried, Christians---much like the rest of the population.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
