Quote:Christian groups filed a pair of lawsuits in Federal District Court challenging the Kansas state Board of Education’s decision to implement a state-wide set of science standards. On June 11, the Kansas state Board of Education adopted a universal set of science standards to be taught in classrooms across the state from kindergarten to grade 12. Faith groups are up in arms that their beliefs are not being given more credence in science classes.
No wonder this country is going down the shitter.
No, they're all quite correct in taking this approach. I hope the children are being told the truth, including the fact that the planet and the entire universe came into existence only 6,000 years but God manufactured some bogus evidence to throw us off the scent and make our scientists think the earth has been around for millions or billions of years. I am assuming the dinosaurs didn't exist either but God threw a few synthetic bones around the place as a practical joke. What a veritable jack the lad.
