That is why our answers differ in the way that it does.
My standards are the same method many of you use to judge the God of the bible a blood thirsty tyrant, and as such can not worship Him.
So 'my standard' is as every bit as valid as yours from a general world view.
It just so happens that 'My standards' are indeed based off the God of the bible and as such I will not serve another God. If some other god has placed the bible in the world to screen out or sift people then I gladly count myself amongest the sifted out. Because from the values I see in the bible I can judge any other god as unjust. As a result I do not want to be apart of any spiritual soceity that the God of the bible is not Heading up.
