The NAACP could have made an error....and then they could have been incompetent at correcting their error. That is certainly possible as we don't know what is in their minds. I just don't think it very likely. The more plausible explanation is that they are more interested in promoting ideology instead of the goal of advancing people of color.
Maybe they had better things to do than endlessly amend press releases to satisfy officious, small minded, anal retentive busybodies with a thoughtless, dogged right wing agenda? Something tells me that you wouldn't be satisfied no matter what they did, which speaks more to your need to spin every little thing any group even remotely left wing does into some affront to the right.
Because, see, what something like this would register to me as, is "no big deal." It's a fucking press release; one would think that the group's actual work would carry more weight for their intentions than their news statements, but then I guess to someone as shallow as you it's more important that they give the impression of kowtowing to the republicans than what they do.
I would think that an organization whose purpose is to advance colored people would celebrate when colored people are advanced into frontiers which where previously closed to them.
This organization doesn't really care about advancing colored people. It cares about advancing ideology.
My children are people of color and I would like to see that they have all the same opportunities that I have had.
