If you can't see how a world wide flood would create enough sediment to cover the animals that drowned then an explanation would do you no good. But, I'll try to make this simple for you.

No, I'll make it simpler: you obviously don't realize that the amount of sediment is only a portion of the issue. The other issue is that the arrangement of sedimentary layers in the stratigraphic column does not match the behavior of sediment during a flood, but does match that of a gradual layering of sediment. Additionally, in many places there are types of sediment that would have been literally impossible during a flood, including windblown sediments and fossilized sediments that would require thousands of years to form alone. That's not even mentioning the fact that in many cases the layers reflect seasonal developments, that would need weeks to develop, and have done so in ordered, predictable layers that would be impossible during a flood.

This also explains why trees are found standing vertical through so many different layers of sediment, because in a flood that great many layers of sediment would be laid down due to the weight of the different materials washed loose from the ground during such a disaster

Or, more realistically, polystrate fossils like you allude to could be the product of single, regional floods, which is a thing that would be, you know, physically possible and consistent with how actual geology works. Also, trees buried in sediment don't necessarily die right away, they can remain alive for up to decades after sediment deposit.

Aside from all of this, if the stratigraphic column was produced by a single, cataclysmic event, we would expect to find mammals in every stratigraphic layer. Furthermore, we should find that creatures found in Cambrian layers to also be found in later layers. We would specifically NOT expect to find the temporal sorting that we DO find, which is precisely what one would expect from a geologic column laid down over a very long time.
