But how can a person say, one religion is better that the other, granted for example I like the modern Catholics acceptance of evolution and etc but that doesn't make up for centuries of unjust torture, genocides, and blind murder.

So why should one religion be treated or considered to be better than the other, their all full of bullshit. Am I right?

fairness in applying strictures, restrictions, rules, edicts and dogma on all adherents

no effort directed towards apologetics

administration/seers/prophets aren't cynical about professed faith and/or are not engaged in a criminal enterprise (forbidden in their writings) not announced to congregation(s)

sincere and relentless in positing the falseness of all other faiths

eschewing ecumenism

vigor in defending their faith from internal heresy and apostasy

willingness to show backsliders the door (or the gibbet if writings specify that)
