There are numerous significant contradictions between the Speed Die Rules and the Classic Rules.

Except that they aren't contradictions. - because they refer to different games. Are there different ways to game christianity that are all equally valid? Can I play speed die christianity or classic christianity and either way...pass go?

Sure. The different versions of Monopoly have core rules that they all agree on. Note that there are also common home conventions in Monopoly. Many people ignore the auction rule or add a feature to free parking, for example. Still, there are common core rules.

Likewise in Christianity, there are common core rules. One common way to identify them is by the major creeds. Outside the points covered in the creeds, people have freedom to change things up.
