I'm starting to see a narrative develop Heywood. Imagining that some black kid could run 34mph and likening the situation to a bear charging.
Good for you. Way to live up to the stereotype.
It doesn't matter if the kid were black or white or green. If he just punched me in the face 3 times, tried to take my gun, and is now charging me.......I shoot him in the face.
By this standard the cop I threw my wallet at had the right to shoot me.
Wilson's initial verbal communication set the tone to how things went down. He also did that in seated position at a tactical disadvantage which no cop would do if they were afraid of someone. I believe Brown's friend when he said he cussed them out. It makes much more sense to me that Wilson grabbed at Brown because he saw the cigars without thinking about how that would lead to what it did.
Being in a position of authority does not mean you can treat people like shit when you approach them. Wilson caused this, and this isn't just about this one case. This is about HOW social conditioning lead to bad thought processes.
