If I meet Browns parents, I wouldn't try to engage in some discussion about their son's crimes. I would merely tell them that I am sorry for their loss and leave it at that. I'm sure they see their son in a much better light than I see him....why try to spoil that picture for them? What purpose would it serve?

Nope you just called him a thug, now if you are not willing to use that word in your explanation to them, that says to me, you HAVE BEEN socially conditioned to think that way.

Now if you were serious about doing that you should have no fear using the word "thug" to their face. And on top of using the word "thug" to their face it would also require YOU shutting up and actually listening to them as to why, regardless of what he did, they would explain to you he was simply a kid who did something stupid and not a "thug".
