BTW, you guys apparently aren't aware of this, but Jesus plainly taught that the law did not always reflect God's ideal on a subject, but rather included concessions to those it was given to:

Really!? This God's justification!? (in his ultimate sense of justice and goodness) "This is wrong, but instead of telling you not to do it, I'm going to give you detailed instructions on how to do it." If you don't want your child to put the damn penny in the socket, you don't give him an essay on which metal objects fit best in the power outlet.
