All he (the policeman) did, as far as I know, is defend himself because his life was at risk. As to why the dumbass rednecks are rioting in the streets in the USA, well I have an explanation for that.

Here in Australia people who identify as aboriginal are something like 10x as likely to be incarcerated as the non-indigenous population. Obviously bridging these differences is a very important long-term goal. In the USA it's a similar story with African Americans: they are much more likely to be incarcerated than non-African-Americans. Not only that but by volume they are the majority; thus if a police officer is arresting someone for a crime on the streets in the USA it's more likely than not that that person is an African American.

So statistically speaking, if the officer was attacked and his life was in danger it is more likely than not that the perpetrator is an African American. That has nothing to do with them being targeted or profiled by law enforcement, it has to do with the fact that they have an abnormally high number of criminals among their community.

The people though are stupid, they don't realise this. They jump to the conclusion that because of the officer's so-called race that he targeted the so-called victim. This is unbelievably stupid 1. because there's only one human race and anyone who says otherwise is following bronze-age mythology, and 2. a grand jury already decided that the officer's actions were lawful and consistent with what was expected of his duties. There's no credible evidence that this isn't the case, at least none that I'm aware of.

As Cato already pointed out, "redneck" doesn't mean what you think it means.

I'm not sure why you think blacks are the majority in America, because they're not; that too has been pointed out.

You should probably be careful about whom you call "stupid", too, especially when the post containing such an insult is so obviously ill-informed.
