Why are you touting information about Australia as support for your claims about America?

Because I'm more aware of local prison population demographics, and the fact that Aboriginal people tend to be more likely to be incarcerated, but that their crimes are also different and so typically their average sentences are shorter so that when you look at it by volume of individual people it turns out a person who is Aboriginal is around ten times more likely to be incarcerated than a person who isn't.

In other words, judging apples by the standards of the orange.

And the fact that we have such a huge difference in this proves it isn't down to police persecution.

Please spell out your reasoning, step-by-step.

For what it's worth, as an American member of an interracial family, I'm not really inclined to lend much credence to someone who is so unfamiliar with our culture that they think of blacks as "rednecks". Make sure you dot your "i"s and cross your "t"s, and while you're at it, let us know how much direct experience you have with American culture, particularly as regards race.
