Now, I'm new to my beliefs. I used to be a Christian but from everything I have read noone truly knows WHEN christ was supposedly born AND Christmas dates back further than Christ does as an actual Pagan tradition.
It actually has nothing to do with Christ or Christianity.
That's correct isn't it??
It's all fairy tales and unicorns. No one wants to really research anything with an open mind.
When I was young, the Christmas message was that the holiday was about love and peace for everyone. Maybe it was because I was a kid and was protected from the extremists among us but there didn't seem to be as many people who were determined to use the holiday to separate out groups into us and them.
Even my very religious friends roll their eyes at those who get offended that a cashier says Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas.
I haven't yet heard anyone claim that Christmas can only be celebrated by Christians and I can't imagine most Christians supporting that view(or maybe I just have sensible friends) That facebook post makes the group sound like petulant children who want a reason to throw a tantrum. How do they think that they can keep nonChristians from celebrating Christmas? All they have done is find a way to irritate nonbelievers and embarrass other Christians.
