The only way this could get closer to an abusive parent relationship is if we put a sticker on it saying "caution: abusive parent". And you seem to have internalized this idea of passive aggressive abuse so much. Why don't you see what a sick gaslighting character this God of yours is. I can just hope that people who believe this is normal, do not apply this notion of "moral" parenting to their own children. I'm sure your God tells you how this threat of eternal torture pains Him more than you, eh, but He didn't have a choice, because you were disobedient and sinful? Barf.

Actually disobedience caused the creation of hell. For someone who doesn't believe there's a hell you sure are fascinated by, it seems to be at the top of your list of things to mention.
