I don't see why it wouldn't be fair game. The whole issue at hand is why you believe what you believe. Either position is still using faith, a belief lacking evidentiary proof, and is very open to intellectual criticism. My mother is a believer and, although I do love her, I find her religious beliefs to be ridiculous. So, yes, I would say you are being biased. If your wife weren't a Christian would you still find this to be an issue?
