You can have a zillion different interpretations of many different biblical doctrines, but the thing that makes a christian a christian is faith in Jesus Christ.

I hate to have to point this out but that’s only your interpretation. I have spoken to many True Christians (whatever that entails) that don’t agree with your salvation assessment.

I still don’t understand how the inspired word of God can be so misunderstood, can you?

I could say that I don’t believe in evolution because there so many different variations of how we evolved to what we are now.

There’s only one Theory of Evolution.

Just because christians disagree on interpretations of scripture doesn’t mean that we are not together as followers of Christ. My christian brothers and sisters come from many different denominations. We're all one in Christ.

Apparently being One With Christ doesn’t preclude having a cross burned in front of your church (KKK to Catholics in the US South) or having a school bombed (Northern Ireland) just to name a few.
