I have my own guitar, and Keyboard. I have written a few songs, and I also have sheet music/tablature sheets. That would stop you from becoming a christian singer as well. The bar isn't any lower, except maybe for lyrics.

If you're a decent songwriter, consider joining or starting a band. You don't have to be the front man, you know.
