When I said you are free to do what you want, that means you are the one who decides your behavior.
When I said you can deal with the choices- that means if you violate the laws / rules and are caught- you can figure on paying the piper.
Again, you are totally free to violate the rules.

This is seriously deluded prof wtf. In America, the people are (supposedly) governed by the people with the constitution as a guideline. All people are supposed to have equal representation and equal protection under the law. So no, they do not have a right to make laws that prevent certain groups from doing things that other groups are allowed to do.
Take a government class prof.
