You didn't address my point at all.

I wasn't saying you shouldn't insult Brian. I wasn't siding with him. I don't know what the argument is about (nor do I care tbh). I wasn't even saying that he isn't being a whiny baby about the insults. I don't know. I didnt go back and look.

I was saying that your specific insult was stupid and ignorant.

Your insult was equivalent to saying, "yea, well, you're not masculine enough for my personal preference in men, so there."
That's not even offensive, just dumb.

Yea, bad enough religion has gender rolls built into it, still has nothing to do with the credibility of any given claim. This is the reaction you get from the right of any religion. When they see their social norms questioned instead of making an argument they demonize like brats.

What is offensive to me isn't the insult itself, it is the logic behind it. I love how the right jacks off over words like "freedom" but really what they want is control, not competition.
