To prove your case, first show that something cannot come from nothing, without merely asserting it or pointing to our experience, for our experience is irrelevant outside the universe. I suspect that you'll have difficulty with this, but I'd like you to try all the same. Then, show that it is impossible for the universe to have existed in some form forever, or as an infinite series of universes. Then, show why God is the best explanation.
