I read the entire page on that link above on the catholic.com site. It does nothing at all to support the case for "The Fall". They simply assert it's true, and back it up with nothing at all. Interesting reading, does nothing for their case.
As for "It's not meant to be take literal", Tell that to the hoards of believers who do! But, thats why I keep trying to grasp how an entire religion can still be founded on such an obvious flaw.
