Quote:I would choose a theocratic state, only because I believe that such a state would, overall, be more interesting to live
Am I to gather from that you have not so much as visited such a country? I've done both;'interesting' is not the first word which springs to mind. You win the prize for the most fatuous comment of the week; dinner for two with Paris Hilton. (second prize is two dinners)
Quote:Most of the world's artists, musicians, poets, playwrights, authors, dancers, are theists.
Well yes, there are a LOT more theists than atheists. (most scientists are atheists)
Quote:It seems that theists have more imagination and creative flair than atheists.
Non sequitor based on a logical fallacy, equating correlation and causation.
That many people may be creative AND theist. However, there is no evidence to suggest they are creative BECAUSE they are theists.
Quote:Wait, hold on. I'm not saying that all atheists are unimaginative. What I'm saying is that the mindset of an atheist is not very conducive to creativity
There is no such thing as an atheist mindset. An atheist is merely a person who does not believe in god(s). Nothing else may be implied or inferred. We are just ordinary people with the same qualities as the rest of the human race, good and bad. That statement and your overall attitude to atheists is ignorant and offensive. (Replace the word 'atheist' with 'Jew' 'black' or 'woman')
Arguably a character flaw, but I don't suffer fools. Consequently, I have nothing further to say to you.
