John 8:47:
47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
James 4:4:
4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Based on these two scriptures by not believing in God we are by default the enemies of God.
The only comeback I could think of is - I will take no part in it and that's that!
But it is unfair. It sounds like a war to me. Religion is war, Only two sides....and they speak of peace?
There's no peace to be found? No neutral position?...Yep! Sounds like war to me. I'd see this two side only thing as war mongering. if they cannot allow neutrals then they are asking for confrontation. I guess this is why they attack atheists so much.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
