If you take an exception to an individual you should have the right to refuse them service on any grounds, but that is very different from blanketly stating "No Gays Allowed". How would you feel if a shop you frequented and relied upon happened to be owned by a gay person and they started putting up signs saying "No Christians Allowed". You'd feel unfairly discriminated against, especially if you didn't believe you fitted the stereotype it was aimed at.
I would be happy the the shop owner was exercising his God given right of self determination. Because I am a theist, I face discrimination on this very forum. I'm not always happy about it, but you atheists have your rights. If you wanted to make this forum exclusive to atheists....and kick people like me off.....you are more than welcome to do so.
I couldn't bring myself to do that - blanket discrimination against anyone, not even Christians. I can't see how the world could work if you had your way, if every shop said "No x, y, z", how that couldn't result in anything but a very unpleasant experience for everyone. A world completely divided and based entirely on labels and not people. I don't agree with you but at least you are willing to "reap what you sow".
