Actually maybe they should have left the posters up there. Because it means the kind of idiots who would be inclined not to vote because of those posters have less political power and less chance of imposing Sharia law on the UK.

Maybe I need to rethink my position advocating that everyone should be obliged to vote!

I once tried to point out to some Christian American women who boasted about not voting and leaving it up to their husbands that they were effectively diluting their political influence. It did not seem to concern them.
