This is one more reason to get rid of religion. If we look back, religion has been cause to many more wars and exterminations , rather than political issues between states. Actually maybe they should have left the posters up there. Because it means the kind of idiots who would be inclined not to vote because of those posters have less political power and less chance of imposing Sharia law on the UK.

Maybe I need to rethink my position advocating that everyone should be obliged to vote!

I once tried to point out to some Christian American women who boasted about not voting and leaving it up to their husbands that they were effectively diluting their political influence. It did not seem to concern them.

Politicians tend to target their policies towards demographics who do vote. Older people are more likely to vote than younger people, and these posters, for example, will mean politicians will be less likely to want to acknowledge the views of said group when devising their policies. If these people hate Western imperialism as much as they say they do, then they should help to vote out Imperialist politicians. If you don't vote then don't complain when somebody you don't like gets into power.

And, to be clear, there will be no Sharia state in Europe. Ask an average believer which country they'd rather be taken to court in and let their hypocrisy shine through (assuming they want to answer the question). Chances are, they won't say Saudi Arabia or Iran. They like the UK justice system just fine. They want the Salad Bar version of Sharia - a version of Sharia that suits them and not that one that is actually prescribed.

There is one true interpretation but only the addresses know it all, God and the firmly rooted in knowledge (Mohammad and his family).  That is why it's necessary to have left a chosen leader that knows it's interpretation, because, the Muslims and humans will not unite on one interpretation without him, and so the Mahdi is from the firmly rooted in knowledge that will unite the world on it's proper interpretation.

Till then everyone should do their best to follow what they know of the clear signs of Quran and not to stick to unclear of it.
