The fact that someone does cannot overcome the obstacles of cyclic poverty, police brutality, broken homes, shitty schools, and, worst perhaps, the pervasive opinion of the rest of the country that these people are throwaways. YOu have a whole political party of scumbags demonizing them for being poor. It took a burning drug store to make white America sit up and say "what's going on in Baltimore?" They were pretty quiet when a guy got his neck broken in the back of a police van. What to guess how that happened?
Who knows what percentage? What does it matter? What is pretty certain in my view is a lot more could escape than currently even try to, or people could clean up their neighbourhoods at least to some degree, or at the very least improve their chances if these communities changed some of their attitudes. That's the point.
Attitudes like "fuck the police", "don't snitch" etc. How many times do you want me to go over it?
I think that's pretty undeniable really. All it sounds like right now, is excuse making for burning buildings instead of saying, what can the the black community actually do?
"It took a burning drug store to make white America sit up and say "what's going on in Baltimore?""
And this is exactly my effing point Min! The cause gets put on the backburner when gangs of cunts go around fucking shit up aimlessly. That doesn't help anyone in their community does it? Now those who already have stereotypes and prejudice in their minds are looking at the situation, essentially going "what a bunch of fucking animals", having their prejudices confirmed.
Like I said, I've been over this loads of times in this thread, it's starting to get boring now.
I guess I'll post it for about the fourth time, because you STILL don't seem to get it.
"The point is not that the stereotypes or discrimination are justified. But that to the people who already hold these views against various minorities, the looting and rioting only serve to deepen their conviction. The whole "unarmed black man" storyline gets lost when people are assaulting firemen and cutting firehose lines."
I may as well put that fucking thing in my sig.

But, you're right. The general feeling is "what's one nigger, more or less."
Now you're just doing a Dystopia and taking the discussion down a road that isn't really relevant, frankly. Like anyone even denies the point you're trying to prove by posting that comic.
Completely irrelevant post.
Speaking of Dystopia, I notice he's still doling out kudos to these 'on-point' types of posts, even though he's already been told how blatantly he's misinterpreted what the point is, not just by me. Funny that.
