Um no, you are focused on you, not his message. This is not about you. I have seen this pattern of behavior all over the net outside this board. Someone gets blunt, and the person who reads it is more concerned with word choice than message.
Now, I am going to say this outside your personal beef with Minimalist.
The real welfare queens are Corporate America. That is what our society has been ignoring and why the races are divided.
I get the same reaction from Muslims and Jews and Christians when you are blunt with them saying that religion is why you are divided. Sometimes you get to the point where you get blunt.
The sane are simply getting tired of being polite. If we were not seeing the same shit in the news decade after decade we would not be having this argument. The best thing to do is LISTEN and work or get out of the way. What will not happen is perpetuating the status quo.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU. I can tell you personally I do end up hating individuals who take it personally. Now if you really think Minimalist is wrong, instead of focusing on the word choices, make your own arguments. But don't think even outside this particular board you can paint someone into a corner to get them to conform to you.
You can only control your own responses to others, you cannot control what they say to you. The only ones here with any real rights to regulate conduct are the admins.
