The more I observe our species behaviors the more it ticks me off that we seem to go about peace the wrong way. We get so bent on getting offended and most of our species progress is precisely because someone thought the status quo sucked.
You are not going to force humans to only say nice things 100% of the time. The real compassion isn't in preventing that, the real compassion is in how you respond when you get offended, not in trying to prevent it.
If the rich were doing the right thing, no one would be complaining. If the religious right were correct gays would not be oppressed. I am glad humans dare to call out their bullshit, if we never did that we would still be living in the dark ages where religion controlled all the wealth and minorities would be forced to live in silence or be arrested or murdered by the state.
So if my blasphemy and cussing gets people to pull their heads out of their asses, I am going to do just that. Right now in this point in history, the rich are fucking up and the right wing in America are simply bat shit nuts.
