The only point in it is to piss off fundies who seem to think that doing it is some horrendous act.  It has no effect on me, I don't care one way or the other, it's no more rational than cursing unicorns, but it does make the fundies freak out.

I suppose I could see why some do it then, though I don't really have an interest in pissing people off.  I'd much rather leave theists alone and have them do the same towards me.

You can't just leave theists alone because even if they don't directly bother you, they are still going to screw up society.  They have to be challenged at every turn because otherwise, they harm us all.
