The point was made very well that the whole quote does include the 'love of money' as being base. And also well made that since money, and modern money in particular, is a symbolic object, the real prolbem is attachment to falsehood.
I would suppose the root of all evil is the same as the root of all good. Even if they only exist in the human world, they seem to be yet more constructs of the world in and around us. If there is good and evil it would be like evolution, an almost accidental conclusion from all the necessary precluding rules and systems. Oui?
I would say that the root of evil is untruth and dysfunction, being that the root of good is truth (factual exactitude with objective reality) and function (fucking pragmatism, but just a pinch).
