One of these guys is actually saying when Islamic charity laws were implemented in the past no one was poor in the world. First of all Islamic laws were never implemented world wide, secondly even if they were I'm almost certain there still would have been poor people.
In the video they are referring to the Islamic Banking system as well. That most Islamic banks in the Middle East do not charge interest.
I am not sure if its' true but maybe at one point there was a time were during the Islamic period people lived in total happiness, their lands were flourished with goods, no hate, no wars, in total peace. The ruler was just and he used to help out everyone even the poor.
