Welcome aboard, I'm glad you've calmed down. I share your frustration and loathing towards the harm religion is doing, and I want to see that harm totally stopped. Violence is certainly not the solution, spreading critical thinking and education will be far more effective and humane. It's already happening, each new generation is getting less and less religious it seems. The atheist numbers are growing, and that's just for those who openly identify as atheist. It doesn't count all those "just agnostic" people who don't know what atheist actually means, or don't feel comfortable with the label.

We're each doing what we can, we're hearing supporting fellow atheists and trying to spread the message. Theists often connect atheism to fascist dictators without any help; let's not give them a real reason to do so.
