Nah, the story started north of the wall and that's where it must end. Littlefinger can't take on the whitewalkers.
So the hero is Jon... who's dead, apparently... so the hero is the whole Night's watch, composed of some of the vilest people in Westeros.
Or maybe the real hero is Bran, who'll learn to control the Whitewalkers... maybe... Or he'll control dragons... we'll see...
