I think I had an aunt and uncle that were atheist, but that was NEVER discussed. My aunt would go to church with us when they were visiting (they lived 1500 miles away, visits were very infrequent) he never did. If they were atheist, I'd suspect my uncle's legendary cheapness played a large part in it.
