I'm sure it makes sense to the OP.
Then again, the bible probably makes perfect sense to him also.
Still not sure why he needs to try to connect philosophy to science.

I think they all know that science is the one true study and so by making a connection, in their mind it validated their "gawd" also.

God belongs in the same study as Alchemy.  You can get your degree at Hogwarts.
