So you agree that there is right and wrong which means there is a moral law. If there is a moral law then it is an objective authority and outside of all human thought. So then what set up this moral law?

The Devil sows seeds in the hearts of people to sin against God. He lies to them by acting as if he wants to bring harmony and freedom. He is cunning so he will use whatever he can to draw you away from God. All he wants to do is destroy God's creation because he sought to be God. Since he failed he want to take as much as God's creation down as he can.
Yes, God created the devil but He didn't create Him to disobey just like He didn't create us to disobey. He gave him and us the ability to choose to follow or to not follow. The one main difference is that God made a way for us to come back into union with Him. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus our sin can be forgiven if we would repent and admit we are sinners. Then trust and believe that Jesus' and make Him our Lord and Savior.
Also God is an infinitely wise, understanding, loving, just and knowledgeable. He started our live and will end them in His timing.
Also to comment on the Loving God you wrote of earlier. Mark 12:30-31 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” No one should take the place of God and sometime that will look as though you hate them. If you are doing the first commandment in the verses then you will do the second as well.
