I think that Hollywood is simply creatively bankrupt and has partly reduced itself to selling gimmicks. Quality story telling is nowadays found in high budget TV series.
For Jurassic World, we sought out the one theatre in the city which showed in 2D because as far as I am concerned, 3D is crap picture quality for double the price.
