I had the same guilt, Thump. I never smoked in high school, but after graduation, I played Halo:CE in a clan of potheads. We'd play, smoke, hackysack, and play. Then I met my lady, and had a kid. There was probably three times after she was born that I smoked and I felt horrible every time, the whole time. Wasn't worth it any more.
Thing is, I can't operate on the shit. My schedule has to be clear if I want to get high. When you have a kid, your schedule is never clear. That's not to say I'm against it, or that you're a bad parent if you smoke (some people are pros at smoking weed), I just couldn't hang.
