Not to take sides, but as much hate as Christians can throw up they haven't actually flown planes into any buildings yet or gunned women down on the beach while they were sunbathing. Some Christians do a lot of barking, but they don't actually bite these days.
Of course, because their religion has been defanged by secular governance ... thanks to the abiding influence of the 30 Years' War, where their body count dwarfs anything put up by Muslim extremists. Additionally, it should be pointed out that there are several score Muslim countries in the world, and it isn't that difficult to scare up some big numbers by phrasing questions this way or that -- but citing a large number percentage of British Muslims when such are a miniscule proportion of the world's Muslims doesn't really carry your case.
The numbers I've seen indicate that overall, a significant majority of Muslims do not condone the violence done by extremists (which, by the way, is by far directed at fellow Muslims rather than Westerners). This comports with my personal experience interacting with Muslims.
That was my point.
