There's a new generation of Lucid Dreamers and OBE people who have dropped the mythology and are just down to the methods, and to sharing their experiences with each other.  You don't have to start burning incense and sewing stars onto your clothes. Smile

From my own experience, I can say that the couple OBEs and lucid dreams I've had were vivid, exciting, deeply personal experiences, and I consider them well worth having. Now that I'm an adult with a full-time job, I don't have the free time to mess around with that stuff, but it's certainly a fond memory.
