There is definitely that western psychological repulsion, but if you could get over it, you might be quite surprised. I was turned on to various things in my Army days during my travels.
I try to avoid meat and dairy products. I am concerned of the treatment of the animals. When I do indulge in dairy products, I stick with local farmers after checking out the farm and animals.
I buy organic, with the assumption that the animals are treated better.
