This is true, but I am a strong believer in doing it Francis's way:
"Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words." - Saint Francis of Assisi.
In other words live the gospel in your actions by following the teachings of Jesus, being kind to others, turning the other cheek always. And when warranted (in questions/discussions), talk about your faith.
Unfortunately, a lot of people don't get this.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
