^^ This. Look at 'my' "What's everyone up to..." thread. One drunken rant made at a low emotional ebb and I suddenly tapped into the forum zeitgeist, creating the second most popular thread of all time which is still going strong. On the other hand, I've posted many threads in which the only post is mine. You can't make people engage with your threads if they don't want to; but you can make your threads more appealing.
So blaming the sub-forum for apparent lack of interest doesn't get you anywhere. Neither does insulting the Staff - and especially the owner! - for trying to help.
