I don't think we should have as many kids, anyway.
I think society should become more rational so as to be able to coexist rationally. Then, I'm sure, there won't be any need for any "families". People would find a better way to nurture their young than just giving them up to the "natural parents", as there would be no reason to do so. Also, I assume that we'll be able to reproduce artificially in the future, so there won't be any need at all for any kind of this nonsense. And another thing: if we'll manage do extend our life spans indefinitely, somehow, then we would just stop having kids altogether, as it would just become catastrophic to continue having kids in such an environment. That is, until we would figure out how to reach other viable planets, or Terraform Mars, and colonize them, or something like that.
What you think is not really relevant if you don't present an objectively valid reason for it.
agreed.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
