Yes, when I was deconverting, the inanities from religious people was far more influential than anything nonreligious people said. I was raised to think of nonbelievers as tools of the devil, so I did not trust them. But the simple fact is, the religious people have bugger all in favor of their nonsense. The more they speak and try to convince, the more obvious it is that they cannot reason properly and have no real evidence at all for their position.
