It's the same thing that happened in the biblical fairy tale when the God character told the Israelites to go forth, rape, pillage, and slaughter. Except the Nazis didn't rape the baby virgins and make them marry them. So that's a step up, right? The Nazis were more moral than the Israelites, at least on that score.
Germans treated captured German Jews (civilians) as something to dispose of. And did it in the most efficient method ever devised by humanity for eliminating humans. And you bring up a bombing run of a city? Yeah, all countries involved in that war, that had the capability, took part in bombing runs on civilian populations. Both the Axis and the Allies did this.
But if your defense for the slaughter of civilian German jews by Germany is some passing comment about German SOLDIERS being mistreated, then you aren't really winning the argument are you?
Soldier equals a male, of a certain level of maturity. Civilians equaled women, babies, toddlers, etc. These things are documented. Children. Pregnant women. All victims of the Reich. NOT soldiers that were POWs.

Maybe God told the Nazis to do what they did. He does work in mysterious ways I've been told. Now imagine everyone all together on Judgment Day after they've been resurrected and God tells them what a good job they all did following his commands to slaughter each other. Remember, when Jesus returns everyone dies. And since they were all religious their deaths added to the magic number that have to die before Jesus returns and kills everything.
