Progressive in the original use of the term by its European developer, which Woodrow Wilson adapted to his agenda for the US.  Control, control, control of human activity and thought via an ever-growing central government...all for the betterment of the masses too ignorant to know what is best for them. Eugenics was a big part of that plan.

That is what Clinton said she considered herself; an early 20th Century Progressive.  Obama was reared in that mindset (Communism by now...but done correct this time by the right leaders) and was to produce that utopia at long last, but he found as each President has found that Congress impedes that desire in various ways, as does SCOTUS and The People...and that is how it was designed.  Obama's supporters were disappointed and had great hopes that Clinton would at last be elected to finish the job.  They were thwarted by ...dear gawd...a game-show host who inherited his millions.

Progressives come in all party affiliation and is seems that the longer public office is held, the more progressive one becomes...unless one has a very firm grasp upon ones integrity.

You might at best be a Libertarian socially, but please do not call yourself a liberal economically.

Obama did not want Communism, that is a lie. I don't want communism either.

Saying that our pay gap is killing us, saying that Reagan's age of deregulation is killing us, IS NOT a call to any form of Communism.

FYI China is a Communist country AND allows western business and LAST YEAR in a press conference their PM used the same economic right wing bullshit talking points "now is not the time to tax the rich".

We already have corporate socialism, big corporations socialize the profits when they win and socialize the losses on the tax payers when they lose.

Being anti monopoly is not a call for a one party fascist state. Saying that pay is not meeting the cost of living is also NOT a call for a fascist state.

Your centralized GOV are the product of 36 years of the GOP protecting corporate greed. If you support that then you are a economic conservative, not a progressive.
