That basically says that you can use them and if they don't kill you and you keep your insurance policy in effect we will pay for your treatment. The insurance companies aren't doing it because they are nice guys; they are doing it because they use it as a profit center, So they are contributing to the problem.
No shit, so why are you in another thread bashing the party that knows this is a problem? Hillary is not the problem. The GOP is and 36 years of deregulation and corporate welfare are.
It never occurs to the far right that people with problems want help. But because of the "just do it" and "what is your problem" and "If you have problems you are a piece of shit", those who want it don't seek help because of the fear of being judged.
There is an element of that on the left too, unfortunately. People who get pets who end up in over their heads are the same way as addicts. They want to do something but because of PETA and the ASPCA they don't because of the fear of severe punishment.
Our government if it is to foster more independence cannot base that on a "sink or swim" "fuck you I got mine" attitude. A healthy market does not seek to exploit, but provide. I agree these new addiction referral services are a scam, just like the NRA is a heat shield for gun factories. Insurance companies make money off the misery of the addict.
