My opinion is that Erdogan is just hiding his true Islamic motives. In order to get any kind of respect as a regional power worthy of the EU, he has to embrace a certain secular values, that if he doesn't even believe in these secular values.

He's a Muslim-brotherhood member, if somebody's belief was a mixture between Islam and secular values; I'll say they must be from the Muslim Brotherhood.

I think they'll keep maintaining these politics (The Turks) as long as Islam is not a strong player in the world.
